Blast From the Past
Michael Annett yearned for a seat behind the wheel of a race car long before his career in motorsports began. His family’s strong heritage sparked his interest in the sport.
As a young boy, Annett grew up in a family that owned and sponsored the No. 12 Mickow Sprinter driven by Mike Brooks (1979), pictured above. His father, Harrold Annett, owner and sponsor of the black and chrome No. 1 TMC Transportation World of Outlaws Sprint Car driven by legend Sammy Swindell.
Since his introduction to the sport of racing as a child, Annett has advanced through the stock car ranks and now drives the No. 15 Pilot Travel Centers Toyota Camry for Germain Racing in the NASCAR Nationwide Series.
