Michael Annett, NASCAR Nationwide Series driver of the No. 15 Pilot Travel Centers Toyota, and Germain Racing crew chief Ryan Fugle will be featured on the Outdoor Channel this week. The driver/crew chief pair recently spent time with Brian Fisher of Fisher’s ATV World on the Outdoor Channel for an ATV ride at Carolina Adventure World. Not only did Fisher show Annett and Fugle how to hit the Carolina Adventure World trail, but the No. 15 Germain Racing team also gave Fisher a behind the scenes tour of their race shop in Mooresville, N.C. Annett took Fisher on a visit to a local Pilot Travel Center as well, the perfect place to gear up for a fun day at Carolina Adventure World!

To catch the excitement that these three shared, tune into the Outdoor Channel Monday, July 5 at 5:30 p.m. ET and 8:30 p.m. ET. The show will also air on Tuesday, July 6 at 12:30 a.m. ET.

Daytona Beach, Fla. (June 29, 2010) – The NASCAR Nationwide Series new car will make its debut this weekend at legendary Daytona International Speedway in Friday’s Subway Jalapeno 250 powered by Coca-Cola. Michael Annett, a former winner at Daytona in the ARCA Racing Series, will pilot the No. 15 Germain.com Toyota Camry for the inaugural Nationwide Series new car race, one of four on the Nationwide Series schedule for 2010.

In addition to this week’s Subway Jalapeno 250, the Nationwide Series events at Michigan International Speedway on August 14, Richmond International Speedway on September 10 and Charlotte Motor Speedway on October 15 will all be Nationwide Series new car points races before the new car’s full integration into the series in 2011.

Elkhart Lake, Wis. (June 16, 2010) – NASCAR will make its inaugural appearance at Road America this weekend as the Nationwide Series competes in the Bucyrus 200 presented by Menards. With an open weekend in the NASCAR Nationwide Series schedule where The Milwaukee Mile was formerly inserted, Road America jumped on board to host one of three road course races on the 2010 Nationwide Series schedule.

New to the 2010 Nationwide Series lineup, the 14 turn, 4.048 mile road course will be new and different to most of the 43 competitors on the entry list for the Bucyrus 200 presented by Menards.

Sparta, Ky. (June 14, 2010) – Michael Annett made his 50th career NASCAR Nationwide Series start this weekend at Kentucky Speedway, a track where both he and Germain Racing have a strong history. Last year Annett made a top-10 performance with his seventh place finish at Kentucky Speedway, and was en route to another top-10 finish on the 1.5 mile tri-oval on Saturday when he was collected in a crash with 44 laps to go.

From the start, Annett raced his way through the field from his 26th starting position. With fast lap times and pit strategy in the team’s favor, the No. 15 Pilot Travel Centers team was on pace to beat their best finish of the year, ninth at Nashville Superspeedway in April.

Annett’s 14th place finish at Nashville Superspeedway boosted him two spots in the NASCAR Nationwide Series championship point standings to 13th, just 31 points outside of the top-10.

Following a strong 14th place finish in last week’s race at Charlotte Motor Speedway, Germain Racing driver Michael Annett heads to Nashville Superspeedway on the tail of earning his third consecutive top-15 finish. Fort Worth, Texas (April 20, 2010) – Michael Annett and the No. 15 Pilot Travel Centers team extended their stay in the Lone Star State this week and secured a top-20 finish in a two day rain delayed race at Texas Motor Speedway. The NASCAR Nationwide Series O’Reilly Auto Parts 300 at Texas was originally scheduled to take place on Saturday afternoon, but with two days of non-stop rain showers, the 200 lap race was postponed until Monday.

Annett started the O’Reilly Auto Parts 300 in 36th, but gained valuable track position and moved his way into the top-20 by lap 48. Continuing to run in the top-20 while fighting a tight handling racecar, Annett remained a tough competitor in the top-20 throughout the remainder of the race finishing 16th.

Bristol, Tenn. (March 22, 2010) – On the first official day of spring, Michael Annett and Germain Racing’s No. 15 Pilot Travel Centers team hit the high banks of Bristol Motor Speedway’s half mile track for the NASCAR Nationwide Series Scotts Turf Builder 300.

The No. 15 Germain Racing team had their work cut out for them as they started the race 38th, but quickly raced their way into the top-20 by lap 63. Fighting a tight condition, the No. 15 Pilot Travel Centers pit crew continually worked hard during pit stops to make the necessary adjustments.

LAS VEGAS -- You can't fault Michael Annett for watching the events of the last few weeks at the Vancouver Winter Olympics with more than a passing interest. He certainly knows first-hand what it's like to lace up the skates and drop the puck.

Annett is 12th in the current Nationwide Series points heading into Saturday's Sam's Town 300 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, but before his racing career took off, he won a minor-league hockey championship as a defenseman with the Waterloo Black Hawks of the United States Hockey League.
