Momentum Building Top-10 Finish Leads Michael Annett and No. 15 Team into Phoenix Nationwide Series Race with Confidence Contact: Maggie Martin, Rising Star Management Group, mmartin@risingstarmg.com

Avondale, Ariz. (April 7, 2010) – Michael Annett earned a ninth place finish in last week’s Nashville 300, moving up to tenth in NASCAR Nationwide Series championship point standings as one of only three non-Cup Series competitors to hold steady in the top-10 in the point race. With the momentum of their top-10 finish, Annett and Germain Racing’s No. 15 Nationwide Series team will journey west to Phoenix International Raceway this week to compete in Friday’s NASCAR Nationwide Series Bashas’ Supermarkets 200.

“We can’t wait to get to Phoenix with a brand new chassis we built during the off-season. We had a great test with it two weeks ago, and we’re really excited to go short track racing this week,” said 26-year-old crew chief Ryan Fugle, “Michael and the whole Germain.com crew have been working hard and we’re all ready to continue building momentum with another strong run.”

As the youngest driver and crew chief duo in the Nationwide Series garage, Annett and Fugle are determined to make a name for themselves this season by topping their tenth place finish in point standings last year and achieving more consistent top-10 and top-five runs in the season ahead.

“We set our goals at the beginning of the season and now we’re following through with them. We’re really excited about our run last week and we’re looking to keep the momentum going,” said Annett, “I’ve got a few races under my belt at Phoenix, so I feel comfortable going to a track that I’m familiar with. We’re bringing a new car this week and we qualified well there last year. We’ve got some good things coming for this No. 15 Germain.com team.”

With one of Germain Motor Company’s key markets being the Arizona area, the No. 15 Toyota Camry will feature the Germain.com logo this week at Phoenix as well as team sponsor Pilot Travel Centers as an associate. Germain Motor Company is a network of automotive dealerships serving Arizona, Ohio, Arkansas and Florida and is owned and operated by the Germain brothers Bob, Steve and Rick.

On-track activity for the NASCAR Nationwide Series starts on Friday at 11 a.m. with practice. Qualifying begins at 5:10 p.m. and the one-day show wraps up with the Bashas’ Supermarkets 200 at 9:30 p.m. Watch a live broadcast of practice on SPEED. Qualifying and the race can be seen and heard live on ESPN 2 and MRN Radio. All times are listed in ET.
