Former Talladega ARCA Victory Leads a Strong and Steady No. 15 Pilot Travel Centers Team into Aaron’s 312 Contact: Maggie Martin, Rising Star Management Group, mmartin@risingstarmg.com

Talladega, Ala. (April 21, 2010) –The No. 15 Germain Racing Pilot Travel Centers race team is refueled and excited to make the journey to the legendary Talladega Superspeedway for the NASCAR Nationwide Series Aaron’s 312 on Saturday.

This week, No. 15 Toyota Camry driver, Michael Annett, returns to a track where he was victorious in 2007, winning the ARCA RE/MAX 250 at Talladega Superspeedway under the banner of loyal sponsor Pilot Travel Centers. Not only was his Talladega victory memorable because it was his first ever win in the series, but Annett also marked the record books by bringing Toyota to victory lane for the first time in ARCA Racing Series history.

“I take a lot of pride in my win at Talladega. The feeling I got when I achieved that victory was indescribable. I’d love to take our No. 15 Toyota Camry back to victory lane for both Germain Racing and Pilot Travel Centers this weekend. We’ll do our absolute best this weekend to make that happen,” said Annett.

Annett’s win at Talladega was his first of two victories on a NASCAR sanctioned superspeedway, with his second being in the 2008 ARCA 200 on the famed banks of Daytona International Speedway.

“Superspeedway races are good for Michael, he’s smart, patient and really understands the draft, and at Talladega it’s up to the driver,” said crew chief Ryan Fugle, “We’re very proud of our superspeedway program here at Germain Racing, and combined with Michael’s previous experience at Talladega, we feel very confident heading into this weekend’s race.”

NASCAR Nationwide Series cars will hit the 2.66 mile tri-oval superspeedway for practice on Thursday from 4 p.m. until 4:45 p.m. and again from 5 p.m. until 5:50 p.m. Qualifying takes place on Friday at 11:30 a.m. and the green flag waves for the start of the NASCAR Nationwide Series Aaron’s 312 at 3 p.m. Tune in for live coverage at 2:30 p.m. on ABC and MRN Radio.
